FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Arrive
at least 10 minutes early, 15 if this is your first visit, so that you are fully relaxed to receive
the maximum benefits of your spa treatment.
Do not
come straight for spa treatments after a heavy meal!
1.
Do I need to bring anything?
No. A robe and pair of slippers will be provided for your use in the
spa. If you prefer, you may bring along your swimming costume for your
hydrotherapy treatment.
2.
Should I avoid visiting if I am pregnant?
Not at all. However, you should avoid treatments using heat, deep pressure
and certain aromatic oils. Please let us know if you are pregnant so that our spa consultant recommend the spa treatments most suitable for you.
3.
Do I have to disrobe entirely for my spa treatments?
Undergarments are not necessary, but you may keep them on during your
spa treatment. Any area not treated is properly draped to protect your privacy
at all times. Disposable undergarments will be provided for your body
treatments.
4.
Should I let someone know if I have any allergies or physical ailments?
Yes. Especially if you have high blood pressure, allergies, or are pregnant.
Please notify our spa consultant when booking your spa appointments.
5.
How often should I visit the Spa?
It depends on the spa treatments and specific needs. Some of our clients
would come as and when they can find the time. There are those who would
come twice a week. Most of our regular spa members visit us once a fortnight as recommended.
Do not hesitate to ask any questions if this is your first visit to a Spa. Remember you are here to rejuvenate and pamper yourself and it's part of our service to make you feel at ease to fully enjoy your spa experience with us.
SPA ETIQUETTE
The spa
environment is one of tranquility, relaxation and pampering. Please
respect the quiet and privacy of other spa guests by speaking softly or
just enjoy the silence.
GETTING THE BEST OUT OF
YOUR SPA THERAPY...
BREATHE
- Deep breathing is highly recommended during a spa massage or any spa therapy focuses your mind, enlivens
your body, and relaxes you all at the same time.
VISUALISE
- As the spa therapist works on tight areas of knots, visualise those places
loosening up.
LET GO
- Don't help the spa therapist lift your arm or turn your head. Therapists
call this hanging on. The opposite is letting go.
STOP
THINKING, START BEING
- You think all day long. Massage is a great way to do a "massage
meditation". Focus on the sensations you're experiencing and think
about nothing else.
